This work is inspired by the clay piece of Tlazolteotl. She is the representation of fertility, a symbol reflected in the serpent belt. Tlazolteotl personifies both childbirth and the moon. I have created this piece with the purpose of disseminating an invaluable artifact from Mexican cultures.
