Diodora Espíritu de Jesús nació en el estado de Puebla, México, el 11 de septiembre de 1971. Es una pintora visual autodidacta, orgullosa hija de nobles campesinos y la séptima de nueve hermanos. Soltera y madre de tres hijos, Diodora completó sus estudios en la Licenciatura en Ciencias Naturales en la Escuela Normal Superior Federalizada del Estado de Puebla, obteniendo su título profesional. Su incursión en la pintura comenzó a principios de la pandemia de COVID-19. Durante el confinamiento, aprovechó su tiempo libre para plasmar sus obras, las cuales expuso en el Barrio del Artista de Puebla, donde empezó a darse a conocer, inicialmente a través de medios virtuales. Su trabajo se enfoca en el arte figurativo, utilizando técnicas mixtas basadas en el acrílico y apoyándose en diversas herramientas digitales, como la realidad aumentada. A través de estas innovaciones, busca atraer a jóvenes artistas, fomentando un mayor interés por la difusión del arte y su significado.

Diodora Espíritu de Jesús was born in the state of Puebla, Mexico, on September 11, 1971. She is a self-taught visual painter, a proud daughter of humble farmers, and the seventh of nine siblings. Single and a mother of three, Diodora completed her degree in Natural Sciences at the Escuela Normal Superior Federalizada del Estado de Puebla, earning her professional title. Her journey into painting began at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the lockdown, she used her free time to create her artwork, which she exhibited in Puebla's Barrio del Artista, where she initially gained recognition, primarily through virtual platforms. Her work focuses on figurative art, employing mixed media techniques based on acrylic and supported by various digital tools such as augmented reality. Through these innovations, she aims to attract young artists, fostering greater interest in the dissemination of art and its meaning.
