Verónica Moreno es alumna en la Casa de la Cultura de Mexicali, Baja California en el taller de pintura, dibujo y técnicas mixtas a cargo del maestro Ramón Carrillo Romero. Desde temprana edad ha tenido el gusto por el arte visual en todas sus expresiones.
Según el crítico de arte Manuel Cano Millán, la obra de Verónica produce un placer estético, un deleite por cada trazo de su pincel sobre el lienzo o cualquier otro medio que elija para su expresión pictórica. Destaca especialmente el tratamiento que hace del retrato, que invita a viajar por los tonos que se funden armoniosamente para modelar y definir la figura, dotándola de expresividad y dinamismo. Su perspectiva sugiere un momento de contemplación. Ella domina la luz y la utiliza para realzar su proceso creativo, su virtuosismo.
