Gerardo Canseco, conocido artísticamente como Jerard Cans, nació en la Ciudad de México el 6 de julio de 1985. Su interés por la pintura comenzó temprano, durante su residencia en el puerto de Mazatlán. Fascinado por la grandeza del océano Pacífico, empezó a esbozar, participando por primera vez en el Concurso del Niño y la Mar, donde ganó el primer lugar a nivel regional. Este logro marcó el inicio de su trayectoria, motivándolo a explorar y fortalecer su conocimiento en las artes plásticas.
Complementó sus habilidades artísticas con estudios profesionales en diseño gráfico, lo que le llevó a trabajar como diseñador e ilustrador para diversas revistas y corporativos dentro del ámbito de las artes gráficas.
Con una intensa actividad artística y participación en eventos altruistas, Jerard descubrió una de sus habilidades más gratificantes: la expresión de sus ideas a través de murales de gran formato utilizando pintura en aerosol. Esto le permitió conocer a grandes artistas internacionales y participar en proyectos tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, incluyendo Estados Unidos y Sudamérica.
Actualmente, lidera la empresa Esx Studio, dedicada a la fabricación de muebles de exhibición, de la cual es fundador, con la intención de expandir su presencia a nivel internacional. Además, Jerard promueve la difusión del arte mediante cursos dirigidos a la comunidad infantil, fomentando la motivación de nuevos artistas que contribuyan a la diversidad del arte urbano.
Gerardo Canseco, known artistically as Jerard Cans, was born in Mexico City on July 6, 1985. His interest in painting began early during his residency in the port of Mazatlán. Fascinated by the grandeur of the Pacific Ocean, he started sketching and participated for the first time in the "Child and the Sea" competition, where he won first place at the regional level. This achievement marked the beginning of his artistic journey, motivating him to explore and strengthen his knowledge in the plastic arts.
He complemented his artistic skills with professional studies in graphic design, leading him to work as a designer and illustrator for various magazines and corporations in the field of graphic arts.
With intense artistic activity and participation in altruistic events, Jerard discovered one of his most rewarding skills: expressing his ideas through large-format murals using spray paint. This allowed him to meet renowned international artists and participate in projects at both the national and international levels, including the United States and South America.
Currently, he leads Esx Studio, a company dedicated to the manufacture of exhibition furniture, of which he is the founder, with the intention of expanding its presence internationally. Additionally, Jerard promotes the spread of art through courses aimed at the child community, fostering the motivation of new artists who contribute to the diversity of urban art.
