This recreation of Sandro Boticcelli's iconic Renaissance artwork "Venus" is made from over 14,000 LEGO bricks.
It is a three-dimensional mosaic that is read from the front and, at the same time, shows different stories on the sides of the work.
Simonetta Vespucci (the muse that inspired this work) was immortalized by several Italian Renaissance artists, making her an icon of Western beauty for more than five centuries. This recreation made by the former world champion in LEGO construction, Gerardo Pontiérr, rethinks the question: What is beauty?, in each of the more than 30 creatures that give new meaning and recreate the work itself.
The piece is part of the Meta Tribute collection, in which Gerardo Pontiérr pays homage to great artists in history.

Es un mosaico tridimensional que puede ser leído de frente y, a la vez, muestra diferentes historias a los costados de la obra.
Simonetta Vespucci (musa que inspiró la obra) fue inmortalizada por diversos artistas del renacimiento italiano, convirtiéndola en un ícono de la belleza occidental por más de cinco siglos. Esta recreación realizada por el ex campeón mundial de construcción en LEGO Gerardo Pontiérr, replantea la pregunta: Qué es la belleza? en cada una de las más de 30 criaturas que resignifican y recrean la obra dentro de sí misma.
