BIO GRAPHY

ALLIE

My sister and I call them “souls” because we don't know most of the people we paint, and the people who ask us for our drawings tell us about that special being they want to be portrayed. I like to read what each person means to their loved ones. Each painting is different from another, and makes them unique. When we paint, I imagine that the colors look like that person. There are some that are yellow or green, blue or pink, it depends on what they tell us. My sister and I want to see more souls, and continue meeting people through our works. It is something very beautiful.

GIULLIE

Together with my sister, I paint souls in watercolor. They are very beautiful paintings, they make me happy because I paint someone I don't really know. It all starts when that person fills out a questionnaire to find out what they like, what they do, and how they are. Later, I imagine all those things and we draw them on paper, as if we were painting the soul of that being. I choose the colors thinking that they resemble what they tell me about people; there are those who look brighter and funnier; others are more serious, but they all have a beautiful story. Sometimes, when I can't think of anything, my sister helps me, and I help her. This is how we do things more fathers, together.
