Laurencena was born in Argentina in 1950. At the end of the 1970s, his passion for art prompted him to leave his native Buenos Aires to live in New York, where he continued his aesthetic search and achieved the formation of his artistic language. Over the course of more than ten years, he has aroused the interest of renowned galleries and outstanding personalities from the world of plastic arts, resulting in a series of notable individual and collective exhibitions, as well as the inclusion of his work in internationally endorsed collections such as those of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in Sao Paulo, the National Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, among others.

After a brief stay in Miami, which naturally included notable exhibitions, in 1999 he returned to Buenos Aires to present an individual exhibition that confirmed the success he had already achieved abroad. In the year 2000 he moved to Mexico City, where he has lived since that date.

His artistic production has earned him important recognitions such as those of the Constantini Collection, Novartis, Telecom, University of Belgrano, among others, as well as the consolidation of a solid and stable market for his work, consequently a greater number of interested collectors and collections. at your job.
